to JM and to the Readers and Writers board, Terri! Jump right in! Make yourself at home! Are you a reader or a writer? Both? I'm a booklover. Alas, I have no talent for writing. But there are plenty of ladies here who do.

I'm mostly a reader. An avid, inhale-the-book kind of reader but I do write when the mood strikes.. thanks for the welcome!

Inhale the book kind of reader? I love that, Terri! It's been a while that I've been able to inhale a book. Reading anything good lately?

If it's in print, I'll read it. Well, except for Horror. Eek.

I've read the entire Twilight Series.. three times. Slightly obsessed.

I'm reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series with my 12 year old son right now. Cute books. And, for my own pleasure I'm also reading The World Without End by Ken Follett.

Read the Philippa Gregory Series on the wives of Henry VIII and loved it.

My all time favorite book is The Birth Of Venus By Sarah Dunant.

The Books on my dying-to-read list are:

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

The Gold Coast by Nelson Demille

Have you guys read any of these?? Thoughts?

Have any good recommendations? I'm open to anything... almost!

We have a fair amount of Twilight fans here. There's a Twilight discussion that is stickied up on top of the board. Check it out! It's a little slow right now, but I'm sure the ladies won't mind starting up the conversation again!

I've read almost all of Philippa Gregory's books. My favorite is The Other Boleyn Girl.

I've read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Great book! Loved the story!

The Lightning Thief is on my TBR list.

Jenn, you'll like The Lightening Thief.. it's an easy, breezy read. I'm waiting to read the third book in the series.. My son loaned it to a kid at school!
