Does anyone belong to Paperbackswap.com? It's free online book club to swap, trade & exchange books for free. I keep hearing about this in passing. It seems like an interesting concept.

Yes, I'm a member. I only have some romance novels up for trade; but I've gotten lots of great out of print hard to find books from there, both from earned credits and purchased credits.

I may post the books from the Left Behind series I have after I'm done reading them. I don't foresee myself going through the series again after this time...

Yay for free books!

Do you have to go to the post office to mail the books or can you just drop them in your mailbox? It does sound like a great way to weed out books and get free books, but trekking to the PO with 3 kids is just not that doable for me.

You can purchase shipping right there at the website with PayPal. I'm pretty sure it works with the rest of the website to figure out how much the book weighs.... I found it very convenient and didn't have to go to a post office to send the one book I've sent. It even allows you to print out a mailing wrapper with the other person's address too.

I've belong to paperbackswap.com for 4 years, I love it! You don't have to go to the post office to mail your books and it's great for kids books, I also belong to CD and DVD swap, you should check those out too.

Wow, I never thought about being able to swap kids books! That would be awesome! I will definitely have to look into it more. I have tons of duplicates of books.

Wanted to drop in and say I love paperbackswap! I've been a member for about six months and have read countless books. I have also managed to unload an entire bookcase full of books!
