Do they leave an impression that occupy you for a while, months or even years?

Do you think about books for just a few days?

Or maybe books only affect your emotions during reading?

Or do books not affect you much even during reading?

They affect me while I'm reading them, after I'm done, sometimes for a long time, it all depends on a book.

I agree, it's a book to book basis. I have been affected for long periods of time by books and then not affected in the least, even when reading.

I have to agree... depending on the book, it might not affect me at all, but most of the time I think about them for days... weeks... or like Twilight... years.

It depends on the book for me, too. Most books I read do not affect me except while I'm reading them. I think that's because I just read for the sake of reading. There are some books that leave an impression on me but there are not that many.

Totally depends on the book. Some I'll read and never think about again. Others consume me for awhile
