Are any of your kids named after fictional characters?

nope, Daniel is just a traditional/Biblical name that I particularly liked.

No, but oddly enough our boys share names with characters on our favorite soap. Not intentional though!

So does Nicholas lol. But SO picked the name so I can't be blamed for naming him after a soap character haha

I wouldn't say Hayden was named after a character, but I came across the name years ago while reading a V.C. Andrew book and loved it instantly

Yes, my son is named Lucius, very much inspired by Lucius Malfoy.

Uh, kinda. LOL! It's a little embarrassing. I suggested "Cooper" to DH while watching One Tree Hill. He's not technically named after the character, but his name definitely came from the show.

I don't have children yet but names I like are:

Belden- From Trixie Belden Series. I'm still deciding whether it's a boy or girl's name I looked it up in a babyname book and it cah be used as both.

Christopher- not really after a person in a book but he's the actor who plays Elliot Stabler in Law and Order SVU. I really like the charector, which brings me to....

Elliot; like Bleden I'm not sure if it's aboy or girl's name as it can be used on both but it's a middle name regardless of what gender I use it on.

Michael- after Michael Westen/Weston in Burn Notice (I'm obsessed with that show!)

Names I like that I haven't found in books: Alivia (pronounced Olivia) Alexander, Emily, and Joseph.

that's a lot of names right? well I want a lot of kids.

If I had it my way I'd have: Alivia, Christopher, Belden, Emily, Joseph, Alexander and Michael. With Elliot thrown in as a middle name I'm thinking Alivia Elliot sounds pretty good.

What are your boys names?

My oldest is named Stone and while his name was just a favorite of ours.. I do remember there being a Stone on General Hospital way back in the day lmao

And my youngest boy, we named Mason purely because it means "Stone Worker" and we thought it was funny. And we get "Are you Stone Mason's?" all the time.. and no.. we're not. lol

Cooper, Lucius, Hayden, Nicholas, Daniel... Do we all have boys????

My boys are Tyler and Lucas - which have both been characters on Days. Zach is a bit stretching it.

I remember Stone on GH. That was a loooong time ago!

I guess everyone who answered on this post does have boys! Too funny! I know we do have girls floating around. Don't forget Talia has 5 girls!

Yup I do have 5 girls

And can y'all guess who my Bella is named after LOL!!!!!!!!! Actually, I've loved the name Isabella and Belle for a long time. Dh wasn't ever really on board. After reading Twilight, I knew if we had another girl, I would want to name her Bella. Dh didn't like Isabella though, so I found another Bella name: Arabella. I fell in love with the name.

Now, her middle name is Korrine and DH actually suggested it, but it's the name of the mother in V.C. Andrews' Flowers in the Attic (spelled with a C). It was also the wife on the TV show The Shield.

I also LOVE Alivia! I like Olivia too but its prettier with an A.

My kids are not named after any particular character but I read a ton of historical fiction and prefer old fashioned names and have chosen names that are the names of many characters I have read about. My sons are William Nicholas and Jackson Henry. : )
