Hi there, new to this board!
I guess i would call it Christian fiction but I've read the series by Marek Halter- "Sarah", "Zipporah" and "Lilah". They are great! Also "The Red Tent" and "Mary, called Magdelene". They are all wonderful. I like reading about women in biblical times, learning how they cared for their children, how they felt...
I love beverly lewis, and right now I am reading the karen kingsbury and gary smalley series (I'm waiting for book 5 to come in to the library). I do like Karen Kingsbury, but after a while I need a bit of a change, sometimes she gets a little "cheesy" for lack of a better word.
I love Terri Blackstock. Beverly Lewis, Beverly LaHaye, I also enjoyed "The Red Tent".
Ted Dekker (sp??), oh and of course the Left Behind Series and the Prequels....
"Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it." -Ronald Reagan
Yeah! I was in desperate need of some new Christian fiction authors. I agree that some can be a little cheesy, so I find it hard to find new authors I love. I love Karen Kingsbury and Lori Wick. I just finished Divine by Kingsbury. I liked it, but was sad at the ending.
Thanks everyone, I am going to check out the other authors and titles you all mentioned!
