I'm wondering if you can search an entire book for a specific reference word and if every instance of that word in the book will show up?
I know that in a hard copy book some books only reference one or two pages where a word may appear even though it's in the book 100's of times and it really annoys me. So if a tool such as a kindle would mean that I could search for a word and it would highlight every instance of the word in a book that would be fantastic

example: I have the novella Never to Sleep by Rachel Vincent (cute novella btw ) and i simply went to the book and clicked on it to read. Once the book opened, I clicked on the "Menu" button on the bottom. When it pops up on the screen you just tab down until you see the "search this book" highlighted and click on it. at the bottom of the page you can enter in a word or phrase, i entered in "sleep" and and hit find. 3 pages with multiple locations of the word "sleep" were highlighted.
I don't have a Kindle. I have a Nook Color but it has the same feature. At first I wasn't too crazy about it bc I'm used to flipping back through books, knowing approximately where I wanted to look. But now I think it's awesome bc it bring up parts I wasn't even thinking about!
