I just finished the Da Vinci Code and I really liked it. Maybe that would be a possibility? It's pretty long and could be controversial, but that might make for some interesting discussions.

Here's a link for Oprah's book club. http://www.oprah.com/obc/obc_landing.jhtml

You can see the books that she selected from the drop down list. I read Where the Heart Is and White Oleander and they were both pretty good. I preferred Where the Heart is.

Has anyone read any of these books?

What do you think of using Oprah's book Club book selection as our list?
I'll do research on the books and pick one. Then depending on the length of the book, set a time to chat about it. Oprah's books have been good that I have read!

Thoughts?

I've read Where The Heart Is ... it was pretty good. But I'd kind of prefer to read a book I haven't read yet.
