YES! Love getting books as gifts.

Giving my son some Robert Munsch books, and my mom a book set in Paris in the 1920's (forget the title at the moment).

Our kids usually get a few books--our daughter is getting a few about her surgery and scars so we have some age appropriate books around to help explain it later

What kind of surgery is she going to have?

I always got books as a child. I still LOVE the smell of a new book.

She had open heart surgery back in August
