I have been reading at a very slow pace recently. I finished one called Baby Proof last week and am starting the Marian Keyes that came out in 2012.

Not much - school, school, school. Currently working on my second read of the Wheel of Time series so I can read the last book.

I went through a Marian Keyes stage but it's been a few years since I read any of hers - let me know what you think of it Maggie.
I'm steadily re-reading The Celestine Prophecy for a study group and also slowly making my way through Saved By An Angel by Doreen Virtue. I really, really, really want to make more time for reading, but things are forever getting in the way.
I am however making lots of time for writing and that's the main reason I'm drawn back to this board - haven't been here in a while. Mostly poetry and short spiritual articles at the moment. Hoping to get involved with writing for a new spiritual ezine / magazine someone I'm in a FB group with is starting up, too.
For those who don't know me I'm Sharron, but having gone looking for those who've posted here in the last year I reckon I know most of you from other boards or from when I've posted on here before.

Everything has been slow lately! Way behind on my writing and very little time to read. But the best book I've read recently is AFTER THE FEAR by Rosanne Rivers.

Still writing poetry when I get a chance. Reading the Children of the Last Days series, on book 1.

I've run out of books to read and don't have money to buy more, or time to go to the library, but I'm thinking of re-reading Harry potter again.

Love Love Love Marian Keyes - I have read almost everything of hers...the two I haven't, I got my sister and my friend for their birthdays (Dec 31 and 27) and plan to borrow . I'm currently reading The Celestine Prophesy with Sharron, and a collection of short stories by Sheila O'Flanagan.

It's great to see you all here!
Jess, where are you up to in TCP? I've done chapter 3 and need to re-read chapter 4 soon. Of course, I'm re-reading the experiential guide as well so I can pick the activities so I have double the reading the rest of you do.
Morgan, I was thinking of perhaps joining the library to get access to more books - THOUGH it is car boot sale season soon and can usually pick up lots for 50p-Ł1 there. But it would be good for the next winter as well. Do you have a mobile library service in your area at all?

I am partially finished the Chapter 2 activities, and then I'll read Chapter 3, hopefully later this week

I am reading too many things! I am almost done with The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton and Zombie Messiah by Eric T Mead. I'm slowly making my way through The Pessimists Guide to History by Stuart Flexner (only about 17%), and am only on page 20 of A Foreign Country by Charles Cummings. I am officiating a wedding in April and there is a quote I want to use from We The Living by Ayn Rand, but I can't find it online so I guess I gotta search through that and see if I can find it.
As far as writing goes I'm not doing any "real" writing. I have an infertility blog I update weekly but that's about it. I just got accepted into From Left to Write so I will be doing reviews for them soon. The reviews are really informal though so I'm not sure that counts either.

I'm here. My reading has slowed down recently since I was sick with bronchitis for over 2 weeks and then I had the baby before I was fully recovered from the bronchitis. I let my mom borrow my regular Kindle for awhile and I just haven't gotten all of my books on my Kindle Fire yet. But, I just put the book I was reading before I got sick onto the Kindle Fire and I'm hoping to get back to reading. I can usually do 1-2 books a week so I'd like to get back to that.

Hello! I have been good! Very busy. I just finished the most awesome books in the world. Both are by Aleatha Romig, called Consequences and Truth (two separate books). They really were amazing!
