What did you think of the first one? I can't remember my exact reaction to it - I know I read all three pretty quickly, but I think I remember thinking that they weren't quite as great as everyone was making them out to be.

The Exorcist is a good read.

Jess, I wasn't liking that you're listing daycare to look into - I was liking the other stuff. My heart is heavy that I really must start jobhunting after Easter too. Where did our first year with our bubs go?

I read We Bought A Zoo at the weekend, I also FINALLY finished reading the short true stories in Chicken Soup for the Couples' Soul and Saved by an Angel by Doreen Virtue. I read a fair few internet articles mostly spiritual stuff and one about the new Pope. I read a few magazines, too.

I wrote five articles for my blog. And a bunch of short angel words of wisdom for the Jenny Smedley thing.

I liked it--I kept thinking about Harry Potter and how I resisted reading those and once I did start, I wondered why I ever resisted it ;-) HG is not in the same playing field as HP, though. The book was a very quick read and while interesting, the plot was a little thin as was character development. It is an intriguing concept but I also kept thinking of Lois Lowry and The Giver--how layered The Giver was and how much was packed into such a slender book. But the fact that The Hunger Games left me wanting more means it is a hit with me

I liked the first book in the Hunger Games Series. The second book was okay. The last one lost me. It seemed the author was trying to hurry too quickly to finish the series.

I just started a book called: Always the Baker Never the Bride. Was looking for something mindless to read.

I'm midway through the third book right now and it does feel very rushed. I have things to say but am not sure if somewhere here hasn't read it and I don't want to spoil lol maybe I'll make a thread later when I have time
