What are yours?

My nanna used to go mad at me for folding over corners in books to mark pages.

I try to use bookmarks or post-its now but I still do it out of habit sometimes....lol don't hate me.

I think that my worst book habit is leaving books EVERYWHERE. There are always books on the table, couch, nightstand, and on the bed. Sometimes even stacked up on the floor.

My view is: If I bought it, I can darn well dog-ear it if I want to! To me a book with multiple dog-ears is a book that's much-loved.

Mine is: reading and walking at the same time. About the time I was tall enough to have my head start hitting car mirrors...I was walking down the street reading a book. I banged my head no less than 5 times before I crossed to the other side of the street and started reading again. (street = hollow)

Is reading in the bathroom a bad habit? Because I do.

I also sometimes leave the books open, face down. Bad for the binding, right?

I leave them facedown!
I read them in the bath, so then the pages are a bit wrinkly because I like it super hot.
I snack while I read...if I've had cheesies you can tell by my leaving cheesie thumbprints...I don't do this so much anymore but there was a phase.

I hate leaving them facedown. Hence the dogears.

I don't like dog-earing book pages. DH does, though. I do read in the bath, and while snacking, if those count.
