Does your local library have story time for little ones? Have you taken your child(ren)?

I'm hoping to take Grace for the first time this week! Normally I'm working during all of the children's activities at the library, but I'm trying to make the most of my time off for maternity leave by doing some of those things I can't normally do.

Best thing ever. Love it. So sad they don't have programs in June, and it starts up again in July for summer, and then I go back to work from mat leave at the end of August.

I attend the under 1 program as DS is 10 months

my boys are nine now but we did attend story time when they were younger. now we attend the programs and classes there. we are at the library at least three times a week or more through out the summer and at least twice a week throughout the school year (usually more, im averaging here). we also do the reading challange for both libraries. the boys are not bookaholics like me but they do love the programs. im hoping that they will turn into bookaholics though

Yes, a lot of the libraries have that type of program here and I have taken all the children I have been a nanny for over the years and they've loved it. One of them does a craft afterward too, when my husband and I have children I plan on taking them too!

We actually made it this week! It was fun, but honestly Grace had more fun browsing for books. She got her own library card, too.

Our library does this - and other children's events - in the school holidays, but Daniel doesn't like to go to things like that.
