Okay, I am trying to remember the name of this book, and I am hoping someone else has read this book and can help. Here are some of the things I remember about the book...
The story takes place in an earlier century - somewhere between 1000 AD and 1500 AD.
The main character is at first a young girl ... and she is married to a man named Llewelyn at a young age - like 14 or so. He doesn't take advantage of her on their wedding night knowing she is uncomfortable, so he uses a blade and cuts his arm to make it look like she lost her virginity.
Llewelyn is a prince or a knight or something ....
Over the course of many years they eventually fall in passionate love and she has a child ...
I think he may be killed in the end but I'm not sure.
When I read it, it was like 6 or 7 years ago ... the book was HUGE - like 500 or 600 pages ...
I have no idea what the girls name was, who wrote it or the name of the book.
I just remember her husband's name was Llewelyn ... I really, really want to read this book again.
