1) Made you angry--not because you didn't agree with it, but because the writing was so good, you actually felt the emotion?
2) Made you cry?

1) I don't think I have ever been angry, but I have hated characters before!
2) Many, but by far the worst was "The Notebook"--NIcholas Sparks and "Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas"--James Patterson

1) I've definitely hated characters. I'm not sure a book has actually made me that angry, but characters definitely have. Like Dolores Umbridge on the 5th harry Potter book. She made my blood boil.

2) Oh yes, I cried while reading "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet. Some very sad situations there. And I cried with "Curtain" by Agatha Christie. That's hercule Poirot's last novel, he dies at the end. He's my absolute favorite character so I cried my eyes out. And that was the day before my brother's wedding! Not my brightest idea...
