I almost had a panic attack after church, they were talking about scary issues. I wouldsay a mild attack but I was really bothered. I had panic attacks like 8 years ago, I forgot how terrible they are. I was nauseous and I lost weight in a day, as in I was 186 that morning and I was up at 3AM and 177. Yes, I was weighing myself at 3AM. So what are some way you ladies deal with panic attacks. Any kind of positive self talk? I am taking a low dose of Zoloft. Before I had Isabelle I wasn't taking an SSRI and was doing fine. Mabye it's post pardam hormones.

I responded to your other one like this hon didn't realize that you posted again.

But basically what I said is what do you feel that would have happened during the church, automatic thoughts?

Anxiety is horrible but it does always pass no matter how crappy or scared you feel.

Do you have any coping methods, breathing exercises?

The thing with anxiety is that it never goes away unless you face what it is that causes the anxiousness and panic.

Also anything can set it off, smells, not feeling well that day, not sleeping, a word, a thought that you may not thing that would trigger it, but there is always ALWAYS a trigger.

I've dealt with anxiety since the age of 16 and pretty much conquered it now, hang in there.
