I introduced myself here when I first joined JM, right when I started TTC but that's been almost two years ago. I'm Tenille, mommy to Blaise (11 mos), wife to Kyle. I've been on anxiety meds for about 4 years now....various ones. I'm currently on Celexa and just got it upped to 30 mg (1 1/2 pills) b/c my anxiety/mood swings are really taking a toll on our marriage. We even started counseling recently.
Has anyone else's anxiety/mood swings/depression affected your marriage negatively? Has anyone tried counseling in addition to medication? Did you find it beneficial?
I go to a therpaist on my own, but there have been several times during my relationship with my husband that he would come along to a few of my sessions so we could hash out a particular issue. We find it very beneficial, and will probably keep doing it in the future as needed.
