Lately I have been getting severely depressed lately crying a lot for no reason, laying in bed, not wanting to do anything and feeling really bad. I don't think my depression medicine is working anymore and it really sucks. I am just having a lot problems lately and I am hating it.
I have to wait until I get back home from my mini vacation. Yes I am going to call my doctor though and get an appointment as soon as I do get back into town. I really wish I didn't feel this way because it makes me feel like a bad mom when I can't take care of my son very well.
I really hope you can get the help you need. you don't need to go at this alone. I'm trying to make this board more active - please come here anytime you need to talk.
I haven't ever truly dealt with depression - but I have known people who have and I can understand how awful it can be. Know that you're not a bad mom - and in fact, wanting to get help and making that step to make an appointment with your doc makes you an awesome mom!
anyways, just wanted to send some your way. I hope you feel better soon!

Hi, I hope you don't mind me adding my views, when I've never posted on here, but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. Many people, myself included, have felt these awful thoughts. Talking to your doctor is the first step. Try to find something little to do each day, and reward yourself for doing it. Even if it's as basic as shaving your legs or walking around the block!
I hope you feel better soon.
