By any chance is there anyone who has taken it during pregnancy? It's take about 4 yrs to finally find the ONE drug that works for me, unfortunately I know that it hasn't been approved as a Class C drug for pregnancy. So I was wondering if anyone else has made the choice to stay on it and if there were any complications because of it.

Lexapro didn't work for me, but I am currently on Wellbutrin, and my dr said it is safe throughout the first two trimesters, and the risks are really low during the third as well..have you tried that? Good luck to you..

I'm on a low dose of Lexapro. My psychiatrist told me it was okay to take while pregnant, but I'm getting a second opinion from a women's mental health clinic to find out for sure. I'd love to learn more information, too.

I just posted about this, I am on lexapro and was told to switch to zoloft for pregnancy???
