Hello everyone,

My husband and I would like to become pregnant, but I take Lithium daily. Has anyone been on this medication while pregnant and is willing to share her experience? I know it has its risks, but statistically the risks are not that huge. Any information or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I would think you should probably search for a high risk doctor that has dealt with epilepsy and pregnancy because most mood stabilizers are anti-convulsive drugs though lithium is not. So working with the pdoc and high risk obgyn may help a lot.
