If you are taking medication do you find your friends and family are supportive of you or think you really don't need it?
I think my dh has mixed feelings. He's seen me go years without taking meds so I think he thinks I could live without it and the truth is I sometimes feel this way too. If it weren't for my incredible insomnia I might consider going off meds but I literally will go days without sleeping sometimes. That was a big reason I went on meds on the first place. But to answer the question, most of the people (that I give a crap about anyway) understand that I need medication and are supportive.
My parents are very supportive my mother esp goes on and on telling people what a big change its made in me. My ex boyfriend did get on my nerves and hurt my feelings because if i was the least bit grumpy or just didnt feel good he would ask me a dozen times if i had taken my meds and how i am just so awful if i dont take them. I honestly don't care what anyone thinks supportive or not they help me so thats all that matters. I just don't like people making a big deal out of it for some reason that does bother me.
