welcome to the board glad you found us

I'm Lisa ... mom to Sabrina (13) and Adam (12) ... I'm bipolar as well ............. had ummedicated pregnancies cause I was not diagnosed then but obviously I got through it .... lol looking back though it explained a lot of my ups and downs moodwise

just lean on us as much as you need to and try and take care of yourself and get plenty of rest.

heh ... and maybe you should speak to your doctor about it .... its your decision to come off the meds for whatever reason so just get him/her prepared to help you with whatever might come up, that's all.

Actually the only reason I stopped taking them was because I got in a "mood" and I quit my job so I lost my health insurance. I'm on my husbands now but my doctor doesn't take my new insurance. I just don't feel like explaining everything to a new doctor. Everything was going pretty good and we discussed ttc for a while but could'nt because of the medication so we decided to go ahead. well needless to say I'm pg and I'm so happy we are but it's still pretty rough!

I'm pretty much lucky that my insurance covers ALL doctors and health facilities and I get back 80% of everything I spend on meds and treatment ... takes forever for them to give me my claim cheques but at least I get it back lol

Congrats on your pregnancy ... just take it easy ... I guess you could always get a referral to another doctor that will accept the insurance if things get really really REALLY rough.
