I took Zoloft for a while. At first it was great, but then it started giving me these awful & speratic anxiety attacks. And ruined what little bit of a sex drive I already had. I knew one other girl that is very tense and mouthy all the time, she took it to make her mood better, but it also mader her worse and ruined her sex drive.

I have been on it for about a month because I was depressed and emotional all the time. I think it has been helping me so far. I know what you mean about the "no sex drive". That part does suck.

I do I do! I take Zoloft! Nothing to be proud of but I have been on it for awhile. I got on it 8 years ago for mood swings after being on seizure meds then for the past year foir depression anxiety. I had two increases in dose. Does it help? Well there are days I wonder but then I'm afraid to stop take them and as for my sex drive it has NOT affect it really. I think it just varies on the person. HTHs

I "take" zoloft. I haven't had money to get it though since its a brand drug. I havn't had it about 2 months. But it helped me alot with depression. I was one 50 mg, then up to 100 mg becase alot was going on and 50 just wasn't working the same anymore. Then when I realized that I was like, ok i don't need medicine or want medicine to keep me sain, altough it really does!

I was on Zoloft for anxiety of seizures also.....it too lowered my sex drive and really didnt feel much of anything, but my neurologist did say that it could take up to six months for me to feel the effects of it....but they switched my seizure meds before the six month period and come to find out the anxiety was from the seizure meds. So I got off the Zoloft faster than I needed it.

I took zoloft the whole time i was preggo w/ alayna and for about 5 months after but when i lost my med coverage i had to stop it b/c it was 80$ a month. it worked wonders for me. eased up my depression alot and i did not have as mant panic/anxiety attacks. i loved it! last month the doc suggested i get back on it(after i drove them crazy all day freaking out over my babies heartbeat- which was fine but i was panicing for pretty much no reason) i told him i can't afford to keep it up so i am trying to stay off it...should be interesting. i almost had a nervous breakdown which is why they put me on it while pregnant in the first place. that's a whole other story

Zoloft taker here too. 100mg.

The first few weeks on it I had alot of side effects. Restlessness...problems with sex. After my body got used to it the side effects stopped almost completely.

As far as sex goes now, it just takes a while longer than usual to *cough* climax.
