Hi everyone, I'm Emma (27), single Mummy to two girls - Gabrielle (4) & Emersyn (7mo)... I am just in the final stages of getting up the courage to apply to some distance learning classes, with the goal of (eventually.. in a billion years time) getting my Bachelor of Applied Science - majoring in psychology.... It's a few years since I've really done any study, I'm looking forward to it, but still trying to make sure I really want to do this.. I've rushed in in the past, finish one semester & then drop out... and I don't want that to happen this time!

These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."

Welcome Emma!! I do not know which board but I have had you on another board here. Maybe MOG's. I am Jenn and mommy to two..Rylin (almost 4) and Emmalynne (just recently turned 2). I am doing online school through University of Phoenix. Distance Learning is great since you can stay home with your children. I recently got my Associates and now working on my Bachelor's in Psychology. Hope to get to know you more as time goes on.

thanks for the welcome ladies! I think i'm actually going to do library studies.. I'm not sure if y'all have that over there as a qualification, but I have decided I need to get a qualification for a job that I can get into easily - and that I know I'll love.. I love books, I love learning, I love helping people - and I love the library so I think I may end up being EMMA THE LIBRARIAN.. lol...
