I know that I have not been putting the time into JM as I should or as I used to, but where is everyone? Have we lost members due to graduation..are we too busy to log on and post.

I hope that all are doing well and that school is going on. If you have time can you please check in and tell us how things are going in school.

Started my Finance class two weeks ago. I'm miserable. The man doesn't teach anything - it's all math problems. But you have to teach yourself how to do them by reading the textbook. There's no point on even going to class since I learn everything at home by myself.

I did graduate in May but I decided to go ahead with the career mobility program. It is a program that will allow me to go from LPN to RN in one school year.
I am taking microbilogy and nursing role transition. I'm also working and looking for a part time job for the weekends because DH lost his job I can make more working weekends as a LPN than him taking some piddly job. *pout*

still here just enjoying my summer break. Passed my CNA class with flying colors. I do my CPR class this monday and wednesday. I've put 3 applications in at a local hospital for CNA positions and hoping and praying i get a call back. other than that tracking down books for the upcoming year to save myself some money and classes start august 22nd

I am back after a long hiatis! It got to the point I was so burnt out and just hated class. I did some soul searching and decided that instead of finishing my masters I would go back and get a second bachelors and teach instead. I think that will be a much better fit for me. Classes start the 22nd of Aug so I won't be doing much school related stuff till then. Well I will be studying for the PPST.

Oh my goodness that sounds like my Algebra 1b class I had back in my Associates program. It was so frustrating to not have a clue what I was doing, read the examples or practice problems, yet still have no idea what the heck I was doing. I am right there with you on the class with work that you are confused on and basically have to teach yourself.

I am sorry about your husband losing his job. This is a hard time for many and it sucks that so many are struggling. Yayyy for a new program to get your RN so quickly. Good Luck with that!

Yes I am stuck at this point not knowing whether I want to go on with my Masters or not. What were you majoring in again?

I graduated in May. I'm now working as a Registrar at the Norton Cancer Institute Monday-Friday.

I took a long break from JM. I am just coming back, and to be honest, I have no idea how often I will be around this time. Infertility has taken a huge toll on me and made it to the point that I couldn't even look at the boards for a while. Hopefully it will be better now, but only time will tell.

Right now summer classes have me super stressed and really busy, but I hope to be around more regularly in a few weeks.

Yes I feel you on being super stressed and with being busy. I have a hard time keeping up with forum boards lately due to my classes and the rooms being so slow.

Well I have changed my mind again...but this time I think I have found the perfect fit for me. I am going to try to get into the nursing program. So this fall I will be taking Anatomy and Physiology. Because so many of my credits from my BS degree transferred over I only have 3 gen eds to take, then pray I get into the nursing program! I am gonna study hard and kick butt! The director of the nursing program said with my grades though I shouldn't have much to worry about!

So yes I know I have not been on again. In the entire time I have been in school I have never had to do abstracts, but this instructor is a bit difficult. Since that is the case I am stuck sitting here doing extra's to papers. She is just strict. For this absence from the board I am sorry.
