Hello! I'm a new member and also a Mommy and Student. I am an online student with Strayer University. I am about 1 year into my B.S. in Business Administration. I LOVE being an online student and having the time to hang out with my little man.

I recently moved near Georgia Southern University and have been sort of talking myself into maybe taking some classes on campus and taking some time away from online school. Any Mommies have a similar story? I absolutely love taking classes online, but feel that I need that one-on-one campus time to feel like my degree is somehow more hard-earned... if that makes sense?

I hear negative and positive responses to online school. Mostly negative. But for me, it's amazing! It works for my lifestyle and I am learning!!! I've never enjoyed learning as much as I have here.

I'd love to hear other online student stories or anything about on-campus Mommy life...

I know I am late replying to the query. However, I hope this will help those who bump this thread.

I would recommend you to continue taking online classes. With strict accreditation rules, colleges offer quality online education which is comparable to the traditional schooling format. Both online and on-campus degrees if earned from a reputed and accredited college/university are regarded highly by the employers. Additionally, completing an online degree within the stipulated time will help you earn respect of your employers because completing an online degree requires a lot of dedication, discipline and hard work which are some of the qualities employers look for.
