Hello, I'm new here!

My name is Janie! I am a married mom with 5 kids from MI. I am about halfway through school. I have been taking online classes since 2009 to earn a Bachelor's in Public Health. I can't believe it has been 2 years already! I am thankful for the online classes because without them there is no way I could have gone back to school and raise a family. Currently I am in my last week of Intro. to Public Health and Nutrition Planning and Management. This week is gonna be busy with a final project in each as well as final exams!

Welcome! Good Luck in your finals! I completely agree with you about online classes. I wouldn't have had time to go back with a new infant at home without them! I'm going to school to get my RN, i've spent the last two years getting all of my gen. eds. out of the way and am so excited to say that in 3 weeks i start my core nursing classes and that is ALL i have to complete over the next two years. Yay! I'm considering applying for a RN-BSN program once graduation is closer. we'll see when that time arrives though LOL

Hi Janie! Good to see you over here too! I am part of the June 2010 Mommy group. I completely agree with you on the online stuff. My husband and I are in a transition from WI to FL and without the option to take classes online I don't know what I would do.
