Has anyone priced their books for this upcoming semester?

I just did mine a couple nights ago- $760 for 10 books (including a couple of study guides) :choke: Thank goodness for financial aid! The only good thing is most of the books are ones that we'll use multiple semesters so this is not going to be a normal expense for the next 4 semesters. whew!

I ordered mine two days ago. I think that this is actually the cheapest for me. I spent 160 for my last 2 classes! YAY! Do you order them through your school bookstore or try to get the cheap deals online? I will literally spend an hour looking for the cheap books online. lol. It's worth it in the end...I think.

I have to have all the nursing textbooks this time . . . 1,500 if bought from the bookstore. My school publishes the list online and I have bought a few online to save money. I bought the kindle version of two but I prefer to have real textbooks. Of the books I have remaining to buy I have priced them for a total of 670.00 on Amazon probably close to double that if I get them from the bookstore but sadly I'll have to charge them in order to have them for school on the 15th.

I don't have credit cards or cash to order before hand so i end up charging them to financial aid. I did price them on amazon this semester though and a majority of them were like a $10 difference or so, not a whole lot. I think all but one of the books is new LOL

I wouldn't know what my textbooks cost. They are included in the tuition which is covered by financial aid thankfully! We get to keep our books because we don't get anything back if we return them so I put mine on Amazon and get credit for them.

I don't even want to know... I'm taking 5 classes. I know 1 textbook for a taxation class is almost $300. I'm totally hitting almost $1,000 - I can feel it. I'm just glad that I qualified for financial aid this semester.

My books come to about $500 this semester. Thank God for book vouchers and financial aid because I couldnt afford it without. I am going to buy one book on Amazon as my campus bookstore is already sold out, that alone will be almost 100!
