For me, online classes have helped so much. I am taking online classes through our local university, though starting this fall I will be back on campus. Online classes have worked for me because we share a vehicle right now and this way, we don't have to pay for daycare. It's been nice not having to pay that the last year and being able to stay home with DD. You do have to stay on top of your due dates, but it works for me.

I prefer traditional classes. I have been taking one online class a semester for the last few semesters though. It was really helpful this semester because I had to go back and take a freshman level class that I never took as a freshman. Taking it online meant that I didn't have to rush accross campus and back to make it to classes on time. If I choose to pursue my master's at this school then I'll have to do online classes, because that is all that is offered in my field.
So, I thought I came back and answered this, but now I am not seeing. (There are monsters that live in the internet, and THEY HATE ME! lol) I have mixed feelings when it comes to online classes (and only partially because of the monsters that live in the internet!). The flexibility is great, but many times I miss that face to face time with an instructor and having the ability to ask a question and get an answer right then.

This! I took an online class over a summer session once - it was for an internship that I supposedly had (I was really visiting IL's in Europe ). I loved that I was able to sign on whenever I had the chance, do most of my work and get it over with but I did miss that face-to-face communication with the teacher and the other students.
I just finished my Master's online and will be working on either an additional Master's or a CDM online (taking a prerequisite right now). For the most part, I prefer the online classes since I am not an auditory learner. I do get irritated by the mandatory discussion boards, though. So often, there really is not enough to say on the topic without reiterating what others have said.
