How do you keep track of due dates?

Help me out with this! I am really struggling lately. Luckily, I haven't had anything late. Instead, I fly into a panic working furiously to get it done by midnight only to realize that it is actually due the NEXT NIGHT at midnight. I've never had a problem keeping track, even with 6 classes at a time. Now I have one class, and I can't keep it straight to save my life! lol I think I need a system of some sort!

Just my Syllabus and our school uses an online program called Blackboard, all our classes are listed there and each teacher keeps a board updated so the due dates are listed there.

See, when I transfer next summer, I will be using blackboard. I've heard great things about it. We have eCollege, and while it's not terrible, it's not great as far as being user friendly.

Well, I picked up a new planner to carry with me. My old one was a bigger, bulky thing. This one is smaller and fits into my purse but still has pages with lots of room for writing in assignment details and due dates and such. Hopefully this will help me to be a bit better organized.

our prof uses the calendar on blackboard, but I prefer my old fashioned monthly planner so I can see it all in front of me at once

I use a two planner system - I have a month at a glance and a daily. I use the month at a glance mostly for school due dates, bill due dates, appointments, ect.
The weekly one has the above listed, as well as meetings for work, reminders to start working on smaller portions of assignments, and more detailed items.

I have used black board and it is pretty good, but a lot of the effectiveness is based on how the instructor sets up their site.
