How many classes/semester hours do you normally take each semester? Generally around 18 hours. I took 12 one semester, and I felt like I had nothing to do! lol How many classes/semester hours are you currently taking? At the moment, just 1 class for 4 hours. July second is the start of summer session two, and it looks like I will pick up at least one other class maybe two. With my online class that will bring me up to 7 or 10 hours. I did 9 hours last summer, so it's doable. Hectic, but doable. How many classes/semester hours are you taking in the fall? I'm registered for 18 hours (6 classes) but I have petitioned the dean asking to be allowed to take a 7th class, which would bring me up to 21 hours. Yes, I am insane.
Trying to thing of the hours, the credits don't equal the full hours we take class. Summer semester here is from June 4th-July 27th and full time is 6 credits (3 per class). I'm taking 6 hours that are on campus and the other class is online so its how much time I choose to take.
Fall my 12 credits, which is the minimum full time, is 3 credits/class too. Hmm, Math is going to be 2.5hrs a week, Psych is 3hrs, English is 3hrs and then another online class so how long I choose. So on Campus time is 8.5hrs. Probalby close to 12 hrs for the fall of class time. Which is overwhelming to me with both the kids, Kieran still being at home, Seamus and all his doctors appts (he has Autsim). I'm hoping I can keep it together lol
Yeah, I am not sure how well things are going to work out this semester. This will be our first full year of homeschooling, and we are starting a new curriculum in September, so.....we'll see how things go! lol
I usually did 6 graduate credits per semester, 4 semesters per year for a total of 24 per year - a minimum of 18 is needed to be full time. I am on a short break right now. In August I will start an online certified dietary manager program (no credit) and should finish coursework in January and practical time by March so that I can sit for my exam in March. I am also hoping to start a PhD program in January, probably 3 credits at a time.
