How are things going? Is class almost over? When is your last day? Any plans for your time off before the Fall semester starts?


Things are crazy here. I got the kids off to their Dad's house on Tuesday. They won't be back until September. Classes are winding down. Last day is the 27th, and I am now struggling to keep up. I was ahead in everything, and I spent so much time with the kids before they left that now I am about to fall behind. Please bear with me as I struggle to keep my head above water for the next week or so.

Good luck with your last week of class Stephanie! I don't have anything right now, but I start my CDM program in two weeks. I am so glad I don't have anything as I am leaving for vacation tomorrow! Last time I went on vacation, I had two mid-term papers due and did not get to relax much at all.

How are things going? Pretty well, have a 91% in English right now (should be a 95 but the teacher entered in an assignment as a 0 even though I turned it in through email (with her premission because I had to miss class due to an MRI for my neuromuscular disease) and she said that she hasnt' graded online submissions but that was 11 days ago now that I turned it in. So my score is dropped because it says I'm missing 20 points). I still have my Final Revision paper due Saturday, another Essay due Monday and the Final on Wed.

I have an 86% in Econ and only have the Final left to do.

When is your last day? Last official day of classes for the school is the 27th. My last day of English is the 25th. And Econ last day is whenever I take the final since thats an online class.

Any plans for your time off before the Fall semester starts? I have exactly a month before fall starts from the last day of summer (fall starts on the 27th of August) and the first week and a half, kind of we leave at midnight on the 26th/27th of July, will be spent 1300 miles away in South Dakota/Nebraska visiting family. My aunt has very little time left (shes only 38), she has stage 4 Melanoma that has spread to her brain and can no longer walk and talking has become hard and slurred so we're going to see her and my dad, stepmom and grandma (and my 10yr old cousin)

I am half way through my 2nd Summer semester whew! I am only taking one class since the summer semesters are so short (6 weeks) My last day is August 7th and then wel...l not much of a break before my Fall classes begins

One more week before I start my CDM program. It will be spent getting caught up at work and at home (I need a vacation to recover from vacation).

I'm done! Nothing else for me until the end of August! My online classes start on the 27th, and my face to face don't start until the 29th. I am really looking forward to this break. I didn't take any time off last summer (classes all summer and then traveling for my business) and so I two years of going none stop has left me desperate for some time off!

Lucky! I had one class in July and took another one in August. Had a midterm last week (95%) and my final is next Thursday. Then I'm going to Mexico the week after that to stick my head in the sand for a few days before the fall session starts up. My brain's fried

Mine too. I have spend the last several days (and all this week) camping in the middle of nowhere.

My classes finished on the 27th and we left that day for South Dakota/Nebraska. While I'm glad that classes are done and that stress is over, the trip was emotional and my aunt passed away on our drive back home on Friday (aug. 3). Now I get the next 20 days to clear my mind before the fall semester starts! (27th)
