So before I found out I was pregnant I signed up for Chem 1211 and Chem 1211 lab for the Fall semester which starts in Aug. I am worried about taking chemistry while pregnant. Is it okay? Will I have to drop class? I have already had two W's. Will they make an exception for this one if I have to drop it? I am hoping to call the school soon to figure everything out.

If you drop it early enough you shouldn't get a W. At least that's how it works in my school, I think you get like the first 2 weeks to drop w/ out a W.
I would contact the professor or school and get a list of the chemicals used and talk to the OBGYN since depending on the class you might be dealing with different things.

Edit: Also as far as I know if YOU want to take the class the school can do nothing about it other than make you sign a waiver. I think a lot of people have done it, but again it probably depends on the types of chemicals you would be using and since I think you're still first trimester you might definintely want to at least find out what they'll be using Hope that helps! I was going to take a Human Anatomy and Physiology on campus but decided I was too lazy and didnt want to possibly deal with formaldehyde while puking every day so I opted to take it online which my school offers lol.
