ok.. I am waiting til the next test day for my GED. I was supposed to start summer I June 4th, but there isnt a GED test before then! so Im going to start July 18th.. Im soo scared.. Ive never been to college. tryn to finish high school was so hard, I didnt get too, which I should have. I dont know how Im going to get over that.. I mean I did everything that I needed too PLUS more.. but it was up to this one person and she didnt like me because I was a teen mom.. Anyways.. I am so worried Ill be too stressed out.. Im stressed about it now.. I dont work right now, but I will be starting a job June 18th! MY 19th BDAY!! Its going to be with the texas workforce- texas is going to get me a job at a doctors office, and the STATE will pay me 8 hourly.. pretty good. my friend that is in radiology works at a doctors office say it has helped her in school, Im going for sonagraphys (ultra-sounds!) anyways.. It will be 7 weeks, then they can keep me if they want.. but if they dont at least I can go some where else with experience!! I have two 16 month old rug rats! they are so great, I have CC day care, so that is good. But I just dont know how Im going to do both school, kids, and I have to have a job with 20 hours a week.. at least-no more than 30! how do yall do it??
I'm sorry, I thought I replied to this already. I'll try again, I think it will be a good expierence for you to get into your field that you are going to school for, your friend is right it will help you. I say don't worry about the GED, it's not that hard from what I have heard, I'm sure you will ace it with no problem! Relax though, I have found that time management is the most important thing with balancing out 3 or 4 things at once. I go to school during the fall and spring at a traditional univ and when I am in school, I concentrate on work which I work mon-fri 8-5pm. Then when I go to school and concentrate on that and take notes, then I come home and play with my daughter and spend as much time on the weekend as I can with her. I let my house get dirty during the week and spend sundays cleaning. It works for me, you just have to find your own schedule. I hope this helps, and this is a slow board so sometimes you might not get a reply right when you post. I'm here if you have anymore questions.
