The unit guide for my last subject was opened today. Its bad, really really bad, and its too late to change my mind and do a different one.
Its a PR subject and I have to find an organisation and audit their communications policies, procedures and department. Once upon a time that would have been fairly easy - I used to use my employer for all those type of assignments, but I can't do that this time coz I have no employer at the moment. I can't exactly audit the way I speak to my SO.
So now I have to find a company that will let me do the project on them...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Oh no, well what about your old employer, I'm sure they would still open you with welcomed arms. Just because you just had a baby doesn't mean that they won't help you out. If that isn't an option what about some of your friends employers??? I hope you make it through the unit, I'm here for ya whenever you need to vent!!!
I'm pretty sure my old employer won't let me do it coz I kinda got fired (long story)
So before I had Sean I was just working at a supermarket, but I can't really audit them coz they don't actually instigate any communications themselves - its all nationally directed.
I did have an idea last night though. Maybe I could audit the midwifery program at the local hospital (if they'll let me of course). I know that I felt overwhelmed by all the pamphlets and bits and pieces of info throughout my pregnancy and I'm sure it could all be better organised.
What do you guys think?? I guess I want to know if its a totally useless idea before I approach them.
