Ugh that's so sad. We just had a 4 year old girl killed in the city by her older brother who was 14 or 15. He set her on fire because she interrupted his video games and asked him to play with her. Some kids are just whacked out.

Sounds terrible. I can't read things like this. It would give me worse nightmares than I currently have.

I can understand that for sure. We recently had an 8 year old kidnapped right from school and murdered. Unbelievably sad and tragic.

This is exactly why I'm growing wary of people in general, and am deeply concerned about the future my children will grow up with. I just dont recall these sort of things 15-20 years ago. Seems the incidents are more and more common, yet more and more twisted. I vividly remember being this age and could NEVER have even dreamed up such a sickening move.

I can't even imagine what that poor baby went through. Losing your child would be hard enough, but knowing he was alone and scared at the time would haunt you forever

It just shows that you aren't safe even in your own home/neighborhood. In today's world you can't even send your children out in the fenced yard to play without watching them like a hawk. My parents were always vigilant with keeping us close to home, more so than most parents I knew, and now I think you have to be even more vigilant. So sad.

You really don't know what your neighbors are capable of. I don't know if you guys remember a long time ago when I posted that DH and I had seen a neighbor boy kissing and feeling up a little neighbor girl. I estimate he was 10-12 years old, and she was 5-6 years old. It was so disturbing. We went and told the girls' mom, but she still lets her kids play with those kids. It makes me want to move.

I also live in Fresno, and this story has been all over our news. It is just so absolutely sickening.
