I installed this in my car about a month ago, and got a really good install. My daughter is FF just because she was constantly throwing up RF.
Well then my daughter had a stomach bug and threw up every where, so I had to uninstall the seat and take the cover off and wash it. I then installed the seat back in, and it was tight then, I could barely move it an inch each way. Now it's moving more than that. I have the FF tether anchored, and I am using the seatbelt for installation. I know it's threaded through the right part, and nothing is twisted or anything, but it's not tight anymore?
Help!

Are you kneeling on the seat to get it pushed into the vehicle seat as you tighten the seat belt? Maybe if someone could lend you a hand, it would be easier with the 2 of you? I've never had a problem installing ours, it was very easy.

Yeah I am doing that, and I have never had a problem installing any car seat. I have installed a few for my friends too, I can tighten it to where it's completely tight and then it gets loose as time goes on...is there a seatbelt clip or something I need to be using?

Do your seat belts lock? Do you pull them out all the way, and then they ratchet back in? Or if you buckle the seat belt and pull on the lap portion of the belt, does it stay tight or come loose? If your seat belts don't lock, you need to use a locking clip. What year is your car?

I think they get tight....I don't know how it's coming loose.
It's a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.

They definitely lock in your vehicle, so no locking clip is needed.

Go out to your vehicle, pull the shoulder portion of your seat belts all the way out... and then slowly let them go back in. Tell me if you hear a ratcheting noise. If you hear a ratcheting noise, try pulling the shoulder belt back out, it shouldn't let you.

Also, in the subforum Maddie posted a couple videos on how to get a good install with a rear facing seat.
