Again, these posts don't belong on JustMommie's Car Seat Safety board. We've all witnessed the misuse that is out there. We don't need to share the misuse stories publicly on our board. Our board is here to help and answer questions to anyone who needs it. The misuse posts are a turn off to those who need help, and will make them not want to come to our board in fear that we'll belittle or criticize them.

So when you see misuse on another JM board, don't bring it here. If you have a genuine question about something, feel free to PM me or Maddie, or another regular member or our board. When you see misuse on Facebook or another social site/message board, don't bring it here.

The car seat misuse rate is 90-95%, so we're going to see misuse all over the place. If you feel compelled to speak up and help someone, do it respectfully. You catch more flies with honey. If you're going to belittle and criticize them for their misuse, they're not going to listen to anything you say. If you genuinely want to help, you need to be respectful. Do not assume that everyone who has misuse doesn't care about their child's safety.

With all that being said, if you have successfully helped someone, feel free to post that! It's just the negative "Oh my gosh, look at this " posts that we need to keep off of our board.
