Via Infant Seat I470 - Gray and Black Lamaze (BabiesRUs exclusive) - Y11262 - Infant Car Seats - Car Seats and Travel Gear - The First Years

http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=177759

-No rethread harness, one hand harness adjust (like the True Fit)
-Built in lock-offs (on base, and on seat for a baseless install!)
-5 to 35 pounds, tall shell (based on pics in car-seat.org thread) but not sure of exact measurements
-Handle acts as anti-rebound bar in vehicle (see pic below)

Has anyone been to BRU to see this in person? I don't see it online, so I'm not sure what the price point is.

Thoughts?

I haven't seen it in person, but it looks like you can buy it online for $179.99 at strollers.com.

I like it, but for some reason their "Five star" marketing is bugging the heck out of me.

I saw a thread with a bunch of pics on CSO, someone had found it at their local BRU. It looks really nice!

It's $160 online at BRU. I hope that people pay attention to the "use without the base up to 22 lbs". I like the handle that turns into an anti-rebound bar.

It looks really cool, and I love the features. Do we have a shell height yet? I could run to BRU today if not. (I want to try Mason in a Monterey at USA Baby next to BRU anyway.)

Not sure yet, I didn't see it mentioned in the thread on c-s.o. I love how the handle turns into an ARB. If you get a chance to check it out, definitely let me know!

I own this car seat. Its one of the heaviest and seems tiny. We had to take all of the cushions when my son was born...and he wasn't large 7pounds. Only reason we bought it and kept it was because we purchased the Lamaze stroller and didn't want to mess with an adaptor. We bought it for 169.99 at Babies R us. Its a good sturdy seat I wouldn't be afraid to have him in it during an accident but had to take him out of it at 8mnths only because of the weight. He was 20 pounds and the seat must be that much as well. I couldn't physically carry it!
