We have the Safety First CA 65 LX and up until now have not any issue's with it. We flew to FL and took our seat with us and this problem started while we were down there. The harness is uneven when I go to tighten it and I can't get it to even out. It's one continuous harness so I shouldn't have this problem. How do I fix this? I need to take the seat out and re-install it anyway but I'm not sure what to look for.

The straps in the back of the seat could have become caught on something (seatbelt, something in the car, etc) and it could be holding up one strap. I would take it out and investigate, and possibly undo the whole strap system (if you can) and redo them.

Yeah, it sounds like it's either stuck or caught on something. While it's out of the vehicle see if you can get them to be even.
