It depends how far back you need the seat to be. I installed my MyRide in my husband's Ford Fiesta (a sub-compact) and I COULD sit in the seat in front of it... but it was pretty squashed. A civic you'll probably have more room, but I doubt you'll be able to put the seat back all the way or anything. Can you try out a MyRide at BRU (they'll let you try it in your car) or from a friend?

lol Yes Babies R Us. They should let you take it out to your car to install and try it.

Also, how old is the kiddo who will be using it? If they are older and have head control you can install the seat more vertical, which takes up less space. (A newborn needs it to be reclined more.) With you being on the shorter side you should be okay!

On the MyRide there's a bubble thing, not a line. As long as the ball is in the green it's safe. The "safe" zone varies from about 45 degrees (newborns) to about 30-35 degrees (older kids). So I just make sure mine are installed as upright as possible while keeping the ball in the green.

She can, but it still needs to be in the green recline level area for RF.
