Does any one know why the US evenflo triumph 65 rear faces to 40 pounds but the same seat in Canada only rear faces to 30?

Because the US and Canada do their own testing and Canada only tested their seat to a certain weight limit. Part of what influences the weight limits on seat is consumer demand. Do not use the seat past the weight limit of the stated weight limit on the car seat.

Its the same in Europe, the Nautilus only harnesses to 40lbs as that is the limit they test to, its the same seat and there are the same number of harness slots, but you cant use it past 40lbs harnessed. Its stupid really.

Same here in Australia. The complete air only harnesses to 39lbs and is a FF only seat
