Hi all,
My daughter is 7 months old, and I'm done with her infant seat. She still fits fine. Don't even know what it is. A friend sold me hers. So, yeah, I'm ready to find a convertible for her. What's the latest and greatest for ERF these days?

There are many great seats on the market, you should head out to your local baby stores and see some in person, play with them, and some stores will even let you do test installs in your vehicle.

I can give you a short list of ones that make my "top" list (in no particular order), but I'm sure there are other seats that are great too. First though, I'd need to have a little more information:

How much does your child weigh? And how tall is she? What is your budget for a new car seat? What vehicle do is the car seat going in?

How much does your child weigh? Not sure, really. I'm guessing around 15lbs?
And how tall is she? Also don't know this. When I put a notebook up to her, she's about 2 1/2 peices of paper. haha! So around 25"?
What is your budget for a new car seat? No budget
What vehicle do is the car seat going in? A 2004 Ford Freestar, it has LATCH

Currently I have a 10yo in nothing and an 8yo in a hbb in the back. A 4yo in a captains chair in a Recaro. He was erf until 20 months in it, now 5pt harnessed. Baby girl will be in the other captain chair.

I'm not concerned with size too much. I hate puzzle locks, but I'll deal with it if it's the only thing negative. I'd prefer a seat that uses the LATCH that you push on, rather than clip on. I want the eps/epp whatever foam. I'd prefer no harness slots, as I love the kind you can just slide up and down for a custom fit.

Thanks for all your help!!

I would look at these:

Evenflo Symphony 65 e3
First Years (or Lamaze) True Fit
Britax Marathon or Boulevard (or Pavilion- which is the same as the Boulevard)

Thanks so much. I checked out the Peg, Evenflo, and Britax in the store. Loved the Peg! But, I also really liked the Symphony. However, the price and the SureLATCH (or whatever they're called) on the Symphony sold me. Plus, it was on sale at Babies R Us. But I think that's because it turned out to be last years model. Oh well. I love it, and so does Jocelyn!
