MaryBeth has made her first forward facing car ride. I had the unforunate luck of finding "gumbo mud" boulders in the highway on Monday. While we are fine and everything, the car is WILL be fine. The mud only messed up engine parts, lol.
I had an arguement with some "gumbo mud, farmland mud" boulders Monday evening. They won!!! Fan in radiator damage to several other engine and a/c peices. No structal damage to car.
We'd been to a doctor's appointment/chemo treatment for my dad and were on the way home. Found the mud and couldn't dodge, for traffic and then fear of losing control if I did hit one.(A farmer had moved a tractor the day after it rained.) We had to wait an hour for help to get to us. By the time help got there I was so hot and tired I just adjusted our MR65 for FF and threw it in the car. I could barely think straight enough to set the seat. At that point this car had no a/c and the only one that did was on the tow truck!! We have a temporary "rig" fix on my a/c as the problem lies somewhere with a switch, not an acutal working problem. We are having the other car fixed at a dealership and see an adjuster tomorrow.
I have spent today cleaning out cars. MB is back RF again and will remain that way for a while. When FF she on the 4th slot of the MR65 and RF she is on 3rd slot in my car and 2nd slot in Dh's car(It needs moved up, but I'm already taking the seat out of the car tomorrow, I will do it then.)
