I just found out I'm pregnant (if anyone who knows me on facebook is seeing this, please don't post about it yet) and DH is afraid I'm going to miscarry because of what it takes to buckle her in if I don't forward face DD. She is 32 inches and 25 pounds. I get a tiny pinching sensation every time I get her in or out of the car now but I guess that's normal just from activity. I don't think I'm going to miscarry, and if I am anyways, lifting her or not lifting her wont avoid it. There are some things we can't control. I've been there done that and it darn near broke me. DH doesn't want to go through that again either. I don't blame him, but at the same time, I just don't think I'm in huge danger of miscarrying. I had no symptoms with the one I lost, and I have symptoms with this one and had them with her, too.
According to DH, my options are this: Either forward face her to help minimize the risk of miscarriage or not go anywhere until DH is off work and can either stay home with her or come with me and her. A new car is not an option as much as I'd love a minivan.
