Ok so I am trying to figure out what to move my LO into. She is 8 months now and even though she is still fitting in her infant carrier at the moment it wont be long before she needs to change seats and am wanting to get a head start on figuring out where to go. I know I want a convertible at the least, but am unsure from there. I would really like a few suggestions on seats to look at, or at least a good place to start looking. BTW if it helps any with the suggestions I drive a Chevy Suburban, the middle seat(the one that she rides in) is not a bench but two bucket seats. TIA
All of these will last the average child to 3-4 RFing and 5-6 FFing. Children should be harnessed to age 5-6 which is when they have the maturity to sit properly in a belt positioning booster AND that their bones are strong enough to withstand a possible crash while in the booster. Younger kids' bones are not ready for that. So any of these seats will get you to that point easily, and then you can purchase a booster which will be $40-$80 for another 4-6 yrs of use.
