I am gonna join in on this. So here's where I am starting....161 lbs. After birthing Isaac I only lost 9 lbs (he weighed 8lbs, 7oz) and I am having a really hard time losing this baby weight. At my heaviest when I was pregnant I weighed 180. My goal is 140 lbs. I have a hard time getting any kind of work out in because Isaac has to be held 24/7 so the only way I get anything done is while I am wearing him so I can't to anything really intense at all. And it's freezing outside so I can't go on walks right now. So, at this point I am mainly trying to eat right. I do have wii fit so I can do step exercises on that.
**** Lisa! 1.5 in 15:26?! I think I have a new goal to attempt.
lol... I think my best time was 13mins and some seconds. I don't remember it was over 2 years ago. I need to get it back down to 13 minutes for the military. I retest on the 8th so I'm hoping to have the 1.5mile below 15 mins. I don't care if its by a second... I just want to hear 14 mins 59 seconds. Not 15 or 16...
Carrie, try the game Walk it Out for Wii. It was on sale on amazon for 20bucks. Not sure when it ends. You could totally get away with wearing issaic while playing.
That is the game I mostly played this week. You are so busy trying to build your island you don't even realize how much stepping you are doing.
This week was pretty much all walk it out. (when i first got it i didn't understand the maps and how to build stuff but after looking around online i'm addicted, these miles flew by)
Monday: 1.1 mile
Tuesday: 2.3 miles
Wed: 3.2 miles
Thursday: 2 miles
Friday: 2.5 miles
Yesterday we walked 1.8 miles on a trail and then I did walk it out again for 3.3 miles while lilly took a nap.
Today I walked 6 miles with people with my running club.
Weighed myself this morning and finally broke into the 150's. I was 159.5. My goal was to be 155 by Christmas, so we'll see. We are going to be in Phoenix with my in-laws for 8 days over Christmas and I'm going to try really hard to be good but it's hard because when we are with them we are always eating out and having lots of desserts.
Seems like we all slacked a little bit... I"m thankful that I have maintained my weight and not gained. I need to start back up considering I'm doing my pt test on the 8th... so far today I've done
10 pushups
30 situps
planks 2 sets of 20 seconds
30 day shred level 2... kicked my butt
