I haven't given up, but I haven't posted in one of these threads in awhile. When i was in Illinois/Iowa.. I ate pizza like once a day and gained 3 pounds while I was away.
I want it off.. along with about 15 more pounds please.
Time to focus!

I'm with you. but I'm not getting back on the horse until March. Thinking about joining a gym, if I can find the time.

I've upped my game with running. Thursday I did 7.25 miles and this morning I did 8.8 miles. I need to be able to finish the 13.1 distance by March without feeling like death

8.8 miles? Holy cow!
I'm upping my game too. I've lost 10 lbs, but I have 40 more to go. I've been alternating Zumba and Pilates, but it's not enough. Last night I got out and did w1d1 of the c25k (for the millionth time). It felt great and I actually enjoyed it, other than the cold air aggravating my lungs. I can't stop coughing today.
The big Athens 5k is in April - I'd really like to do it. And we're planning a beach trip in May. Zero time to slack!

I'm going to get back in the swing this weekend. The reserve inspection we just went through put me back.

Good luck with the p90x! I've heard that is intense.
I did a short 5 miles on Thursday. This afternoon I am planning 9 miles. I am kind of scared

It's a cold day to be out running. Especially 9 miles! Brr...
We did p90x day one this morning. I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be, but I modified some of the stuff that I knew I couldn't do yet. We're planning to get up at 5:15 to do tomorrow's workout... *fingers crossed*

9.04 miles in the same amount of time that I did 8.82 last week. I did have to walk some but I was able to run longer between walking breaks. It was cold, but once we got going it felt more like the upper 40s instead of 36 and a windchill of about 28

10 mile run today. Without jogging stroller so I was stoked.
My current new favorite DVD is shredding it with weights. I could hardly love this week after doing it.
Good luck with p90x Alyssa. I've heard really great things about it.

We did day 2 this morning. We're both pretty sore, but I was sure it'd be a lot harder. I don't expect tomorrow to be so easy...

How do you like Shredding it with weights? Is it like the 30 day shred or is this just weights?

We skipped our p90x workout yesterday, it was a crazy day. I did c25k day 2 today, and we're going to do p90x yoga tonight. Maybe the ab ripper too, depending on how the yoga abuses us.

I love shredding it with weights. It has two 30 minute routines. It's meant to do with kettle bells but you can use a dumb bell. I'm using a five pound dumb bell. Yep. My upper body is pathetic. Lol Anyways, love the workout because it went by super quick and didn't seem terribly hard but I could hardly move the next day. It was harder after the first time because my muscles were fatigued. Worked lower body real well too.
I took Tuesday off, did circuit training with my students during their PE period Wed(they thought they could do more sit ups and jump rope longer than an "old person" and yes i showed them up) shredding with weights Thursday. Walked 2.5 miles Friday and walked two miles today.
