How was everyone's New Years Eve? Roads were really bad out here last night. Lots of cars in the ditches. The night actually flew by pretty quickly at work last night. Going to head to bed in a min.
Happy January ladies!! we had a low key New Years, I was in bed by 10pm but woke up at midnight when our neighbors started setting off fireworks, I was annoyed LOL......We started phase 1 of prep for the new baby, we bought Syd her big girl bed, it will be in next weekend and we moved the crib out of her room, we didn't reassemble yet that will come later. She hasn't been sleeping in her crib for months anyway so it wasn't a huge deal it was just nice to get it out of her room and finally order her bed. We decided on a full size bed it is pretty low to the ground so I think it will be fine, she sleeps on a mattress without falling off so fingers crossed LOL
Right on. We are in the midst of operation toddler bed transition. She fell asleep on the couch last night and I put her in the Tbed and she woke up at 3:30, couldn't fall back to sleep till 4 so I put the mattress back in her crib. She napped in her crib so we'll try again tonight and just let her decide when she's ready. I still have some babyproofing to do in her room so I'm not in a big rush.
Morning ladies!! back to the grind ........how is everyone today? it is so cold!!! How did last night go with the toddler bed Cyndee? Sydney does pretty good but to be honest I either lay down with her to get her to go to sleep or she falls asleep in the living room and I move her into bed, probably a bad habit but for now it works. Hope the BDing went well, throwing baby dust your way!!
We gave up for now and just put her in her crib last night. Speaking of bad habits she likes to fall asleep to a movie now But she did sleep a full 12 hours. part of me thinks she's not quite ready for the toddler bed yet. We'll keep trying until she's comfortable and let's us know. I just hope it's before my parents get here as they will be bunking in her room - the den just gets too cold. I think after my dad leaves my mom can really help her adjust.
Maddie has been so awesome this past week, I'm going to miss staying home with her!
Syd also likes to fall asleep to a movie, I don't mind all that much really but she doesn't have a TV in her room so that means she falls asleep in the living room, I almost would rather get a TV for her room and let her watch and just fall asleep in there. I can't blame her really I like to fall asleep to tv too LOL. Syd was inches from crawling out of her crib, or falling out, that is why we had to nix it, she could get her leg over and I was scared she was going to fall and crack her head open! if Maddie is fine the crib I wouldn't worry too much about it right now.
we are bad. we took the 19 in flat screen from the office/den and put it in her room. We decided it was a lesser tip risk than the 28 inch crt that was in there. She's hooked up. We put it in yesterday, she had her little dvd player before we hooked up to the tv. Now we have that and the ipod with movies. I know we are creating a monster lol we need a second kid to avoid spoiling the first too much haha
videos are always great to get them to go to bed. I did the same thing. We are actually putting onei Hannah's room to. We did it for the other two. How is everyone?
Cyndee don't worry we are right behind you LOL because Jon says he is moving the big flat screen from the basement to her playroom and then moving the smaller flat screen that is in playroom to her bedroom! he says the TV in the basement is going to waste because we never go down there and since she needs a TV in her room (yes she "needs" it LOL) it will be smarter to just move them around. I am for anything that gets her to sleep with minimal fuss.
morning girls! another cold one here! I am ready for spring!
We feel ISOLATED to our bedroom b/c the kids have all their toys in the family room & they've destroyed the VHS/DVD players "and" the 38" regular TV by throwing things at it (matchbox cars)... so when we got our Sony Bravia/Flatscreen, it's in our bedroom (I don't trust my kids w/ this TV. We want to finish off the basement, put their stuff there & have our family room again & not feel isolated to watch stuff in bed instead. I hate it. I took the kid's TV's out of their bedrooms. I use to allow my now 9 year old to have a TV in his room since he was 3, this year, I took it out, I was done b/c Cartoon Network has "adult swim" w/ Family Guy & others that aren't appropriate. But now that we've done that, the kids watch TV in the family room, monitored, which is ideal but again, we're isolated to our bedroom b/c we dont' want to watch Noggin & Sprout! I can only take so much Yo-GabaGaba...
Check out my Cheri baby psychic reading I got today
I am seeing you wtih a boy coming next and they relate him to FEB... so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in
I am seeing him as someone who is adventurous. He likes to try new things, always meeting new people. I see him being a "people watcher" the type that likes to go out with you to do your errands and really does behave well. Hes got a toy with him and plays quietly kinda paying attention to where your going and what your doing. Even as a young child, seems to just have this patience about him and can pretty much go anywhere with you without causing any problems.
he is someone who i would say is good with thinking things through. Always makes a decision with alot of thought, and usually asking tons of questions so he can make sure that he has all his bases covered. They show him being like 6ft 3 in height, usually having a slender to average build. He prefers to have a more 'Rocker" style clothes when he is older, and is someone who loves to talk. Most people really feel that they are able to confide in him that he truely listens to what is being said. I think that you will find him to be really loyal and trust worthy and most times will be where he says he is going to be.
I am seeing him learning to play the guitar, and they can usually be found in his best friends basement "jamming" to their own little band with thoughts of being musicians! lol. I think that you will find that he is someone who is not about "settling" and wants something that is going to make him good money and allow him more financial freedom when hes older. You will see a big change in him around the age of 17 where he becomes more focused and "Grown up" about his activities and the direction he takes in his life.
When it comes to career paths, they show him linked to working in something linked with aviation, its more electronic and intellectual. They show him having training and its something that is hard work but pays well. Almost like being in front of those radar type machines..etc.
When it comes to marriage i see him closer to 26, they will have one boy and two girls of their own.
awesome reading Cyndee!! hmm Feb is right around the corner could that be your BFP month!? hope so, fingers crossed!
I am trying to clean out the closet in my office and can I just say it is like an episode of "Hoarders" in there! seriously there is stuff packed in there that I have no idea why I would even keep! it is all getting trashed LOL I have to trash it all before Jon gets home and goes thru it though or he will be pulling stuff out
