Good morning! Back to work and actually early today! I'm determined not to be late anymore, Dec was a bad month with mornign battles and clinginess.

Today I'm going to look for a birthday outfit for Maddie and work on getting her (5) invites ready and plans for food a few games and goodies for the kids.

In the mail yesterday I got a ton of coupons for your 'baby's arrival' including a coupon to buy everything off your registry you need for your baby's arrival...I forgot how I registered at all those companies again after my 8 week appt last summer. I'd be 36 weeks. I know this is nothing in comparison to baby Charlies upcoming birthday. These anniversaries are so hard.

What kills me is that I get buy buy baby and BRU circulars and coupons and I look through them and realize that there is nothing I will ever need to buy at a baby store, likely ever. We don't use diapers or wipes, she's outgrown any clothes they sell at most baby stores (I think BRU goes up to 48 months tho), she's done with pacifiers and bibs, we won't need to buy any more sippy cups or crib sheets. Even the toys she's outgrown. I still can't stop collecting these dang coupons though, I know someone will need them so I just keep passing them along.

My baby's all grown up. The baby days are over. Madison is a wonderful well adjusted and happy little girl. I know I couldn't ask for more out of life. I'm very lucky. But it's still kind of sad.

Morning ladies! hope everyone is well. this first full week of 2011 hasn't been the best so far but I remain hopeful LOL....nothing particular just a lot of running around, some work issues and my house is a mess. It can only get better....I hope!

She expressed interest in this Fisher-Price Dora the Explorer My Talking Backpack - Fisher-Price - Toys "R" Us in the store the other day.

She's also getting into Care Bears but I can only find dvd's not toys.

Calico Critters Britney Bunny's Ballet Set - International Playthings - Toys "R" Us (imaginarium section at TRU) goes with her dollhouse

Instruments or music players are a hit too. Same with a basic chalk board and chalk.

I think we are going to get her a camera and maybe a wagon and clothes.

very cute! I guess I should start planning Sydney's party. She wants a "snake cake"?????? why???? no idea but she has been saying this for months and I asked her again last night and she said the same LOL, I guess I need to figure out who can make it or how I can make it on my own. She also wants this Lego house toy set thing so I guess we will get her that and she also wants her room painted yellow, so I think we give her an official big girl room for her bday with new paint, rug, bedding and curtains. that should be a fun project!

Maddie was so cute this morning on the way to daycare " Syndey is my best friend. She is very nice to me " No kidding!

A room re-deco sounds fun! It must seem like you are redoing a room in your house every 6 months A snake cake could be pretty easy to do. If you take 2 round or bundt cakes and cut them to make half circles just so and icing it you can make something that looks like this http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.co...2-21326974.jpg

^^the cake is awesome and exactly what I picture in my head when I think of a snake cake however......you do know me right? I cannot bake to save my soul! maybe I will do a practice run and see how it turns out. or maybe I will do 3 practice runs LOL

so cute about Maddie! the other night at bedtime Syd and I were talking about her friends at school and I asked who her favorite girlfriend was and she said "Ava. but Maddie is my best friend"

I am excited about redoing her room but we went to Lowes a couple weeks ago and we were looking at paint and she picked the most hideous yellow ever! seriously it would look like Big Bird exploded in her room LOL, I am trying to sway her into a more subdued yellow, the kid barely sleeps now she need not have those bright walls keeping her up all night, not to mention when the sun comes up on that yellow? well let's just say it wouldn't be pretty!

LMAO too funny! guess there is a positive to getting into an accident

I "think" I can make the snake cake, it seems easy.....keyword being "seems" I think I try a practice cake and see how it goes but I am optimistic LOL

so glad it is Friday! Snow is stopping, woot! my parents are coming for the weekend and I was afraid the snow would stop them but I think it should be ok! I need a nice relaxing weekend!

I agree. Today was insane. I glanced at my watch tonight at work (thinking I had been there for two or three hours already) and realized it had only been 45 minutes. My feet are killing me after this night!
