a lake or an ocean? by living by i mean like within driving distance of about 20 mins? if so how far is it, what lake/ocean is it.

Nope, although I am sure there are some smaller lakes near us we just haven't been to them. We are about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs from the NJ shore though so it isn't that far. We are only a few miles from the Delaware River, which isn't a lake or ocean but it is a large body of water LOL

no. We have a flash - a sort of small lake caused by mining subsidence literally about 20 mins away, but it's nothing spectacular, Daniel loves feeding the ducks there tho.

we live by a couple of rivers....but we also have a lake that is across the way from our house we can walk there in 2-5 mins depending on which entrance you use....they have a little beach sectioned off for swimming as well....the girls love to go down there!

We are within distance of the Puget Sound does that count? I see it everyday from my office window and could touch it . I am right on the sound at work. We also have lots of little lakes and rivers around us. We are probably 30-45 mins from the Pacific Ocean.
